Introduction to Da Baji Fundamentals

The Da Baji (Big Baji) form is the vehicle through which the concepts, principles and applications will be taught. Training will involve both stationary and dynamic exercises. The stationary training allows students to understand the framework or structure of Baji in order for them to efficiently issue power. The dynamic part adds “Holding Lantern” footwork to the structure so that the student learns how to employ momentum as a means of increasing power, agility and mobility. The Da Baji form is a dynamic training form, and in this session, Master Tsou will also provide an explanation for the usage of each individual move.
